Cherston-on-Sea (frequently shortened to Cherston) is a fictional town in England where tourism is a significant industry.
Mark and his family lived in Cherston until 2006, when an incident at school and a suicide attempt prompted the family to move to Almsworth.[ch. 24]
After Stenordale Manor burned down in 2020, Diana fled to Cherston-on-Sea. She ended up staying there with Chiamaka, a bed-and-breakfast owner.[ch. 36]
Notes
- Cherston-on-Sea first appeared in Chapter 9 of Alyson's vampire story, Glow, Worm; [1] there, it is described as being on the Cherston River and having absorbed a smaller village named Spindle Corpse. The Cox family live in Cherston, and Gemma's sister Amanda is buried in Spindle Corpse.
