Chapter 22: Waterslide is the seventh chapter of the second book of the series, Secrets of Dorley Hall, and twenty-second chapter overall.

The chapter title refers to the opening scene at the water park, where Shahida and Mark first meet.

The chapter contains a flashback scene to 2007, and ten scenes which all take place on Wednesday, 11 December 2019.

Plot

In August 2007, Shahida and Melissa meet as young children at a water theme park

In 2019, Lorna returns to Dorley for a consultation

Aaron considers his feminisation

Lorna gets a gothy makeover from Jodie

Aaron and Maria, partially recovered, have a long talk

Stef lounges over breakfast waiting for her consultation

Indira takes Stef and Lorna to their consultations

Monica does a feminist lecture for the basement dwellers

Lorna meets Mrs Prentice and sets a surgery date for mid-2020. What could possibly go awry?

Stef’s first taste of electrolysis, and orchi described as “it’s like pulling an olive out of a jelly salad” before following Maria’s lead on Aaron
