Chapter 47 will be the eleventh and final chapter of the fourth book of the series, and forty-seventh chapter overall.
In April 2025, Alyson Greaves wrote on BlueSky that she had written the final scene of the book.[1] During the writing of chapter 46 Alyson discussed privately releasing the chapter in two, and eventually three parts; the first two parts already spanning forty thousand words led her to split the third part into a separate chapter.
