Chapter 33: Until You Make It is the seventh chapter of the third book of the series, Enemies of Dorley Hall, and thirty-third chapter overall.

The title is part of the mantra quoted by Mia in the previous chapter, which Bethany cheerfully adopts.

Plot

Bethany considers her pronouns

Bethany and Steph have breakfast with some of the hungover sponsors

Tabby visits Will and demands he showers

Shahida comforts and listens to Melissa’s reminiscences of lost time

Will is brought to overhear Harmony talking with Ollie in the cells. It does not go well

Rachel, Melissa, Shahida, and Amy visit a reserve

Will reacts badly to news of Bethany’s name change

Melissa exorcises her memories of the railway bridge and tells the others about her dysphoria

Bethany joining Team Pink reveals Will’s envy to Tabby; he has wanted to be a girl since forever

Jake humiliates Declan in the middle of Val attempting to train Trevor

Bethany, somewhat in the doldrums after learning Will has admitted he’s trans, is reassured by Maria

Dina is forced to train like Trevor, unsuccessfully

Maria gives Bethany a plan for recovering her mojo

Val demands Dina get a more modest costume

Maria gets Bethany dressed feminine so she can talk with Will

Frankie and Trev retrieve a dark blue dress from Val’s rooms, to find Jake hitting the ‘merchandise’
